Mason Basketball

The men’s basketball team is playing University of Dayton Saturday, Feb. 6, at 6 p.m. The women’s basketball team will be playing Saint Joseph’s University Sunday, Feb. 7, at 2 p.m. Students enter free with their Mason IDs.

Chocolate Lovers Festival

The Chocolate Lovers Festival is this weekend, open Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. in Old Town Fairfax. Mason’s Department of Nutrition and Food Studies is sponsoring the Chocolate Challenge this year, so be sure to check that out at the Nutrition Kitchen. Chinese New Year at the Kennedy Center

This weekend the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts is hosting some free events. Saturday starting at 11 a.m. there will be lots of Chinese culture activities, and Sunday at 6 p.m. there will be a performance by the Shenzhen Lily Girls’ Choir. Click the link for more details.

Pathmakers: Women in Art, Craft, and Design, Midcentury and Today

This exhibit at the National Museum of Women in the Arts is showcasing women artists of the past and present who “had tremendous influence as designers, artists, and teachers.” Student tickets are usually $8, but this Sunday, Feb. 7, is a community day, so admission is free!
