Spring semester is wrapping up and with that comes summer break! What better way to celebrate end of the term and welcome summer vacation than going to a concert? Listed below are a few ideas to get the season rolling.

Would you like wine with your concert entertainment? Head to VinoFest DC, a yearly music festival with an array of foods to keep the party going and is presented by the Make-A-Wish Foundation Mid-Atlantic, DC Central Kitchen, and Networking for Teaching Entrepreneurship.

Check out the Silver Line and Music TruckFest! There will be live music and beer to celebrate the beginning of summer. Performances by Jack the Radio and The Regal Beagles. Admission is free. Though, the all-you-can-taste wristbands are $20. Don’t want to drive? Take the Mason to Metro shuttle and then Orange Line to Silver line. Stop is at Tyson’s Corner. A personal favorite to start off the summer is the Celebrate Fairfax event. Happening June 5-7, the event will be featuring Kongos, 3 Doors Down, and The Amish Outlaws. Not only music, but carnival rides and food will be there for the taking. Admission tickets are $10. http://celebratefairfax.com/
