To the Mason Community,

We want to start off by thanking everyone who has submitted a response to our #GetaDatewithFourthEstate survey. In just the first few days we had over 200 applications, which is way more than we ever expected.

With that said, we have heard concerns from students about not yet being matched. This does not [necessarily] mean you are unmatchable. What it probably means is that there are three girls, sitting in an office, matching person by person. What we are realizing is that it is going to take a while to get to everyone. If this project ends up being successful, we really hope to make this a permanent IV Estate column. But we do apologize for not being able to get to everyone as quickly as we had hoped.

Moreover, for those of you who have taken the survey you might have noticed that we used SurveyMonkey. At the time we were not aware of the limitations of the website if you are using a free account. What this also means is we are no longer able to see incoming applications.
