Neon Trees announced as Mason Day headliner


Mark your calendars because Mason Day, one of the most anticipated traditions at George Mason University, is just around the corner! On April 26, from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., the Patriots will come together for a day filled with music, rides, games and delicious food. However, this year there’s an extra buzz in the air as Student Involvement has announced the headliners for the event: None other than Neon Trees!

Neon Trees is a band that needs no introduction. Comprising lead vocalist Tyler Glenn, guitarist Chris Allen, bassist Branden Campbell and drummer Elaine Bradley, Neon Trees rose to fame with hits like “Animal,” “Everybody Talks,” and “Sleeping with a Friend.” Their unique blend of pop and rock elements, coupled with their electrifying stage presence, has earned them a dedicated fan base and critical acclaim.

With numerous awards and accolades under their belt, including Billboard Music Awards and Teen Choice Awards nominations, Neon Trees continues to dominate the music scene with their distinctive sound and compelling performances. The concert featuring Neon Trees will kick off at 8:45 p.m. at Lot A and L. Here’s the best part, tickets to Mason Day are free for Mason ID holders! For guests, tickets are available for $35, offering an incredible value for an evening of entertainment.
