Happy Friday, Patriots!

From student protests against our commencement speaker, a new head basketball coach, Student Government elections, to the International Week parade and dance competition, the past two weeks have been busy ones for Mason Nation! 

This week… 

Staff member Yahya Alshamay received a pat from an inspired student. Yahya was thanked “for being a light for others, continuing to chase your dreams and aspirations in this world. Allah Bless you always.” 

Student Benjamin Korhnak received a pat from a fellow student and friend. Admiring his style, Benjamin’s friend says, “Bro your fits go crazy and your energy is top notch.” 

Staff member Meagan Canning received a pat for taking the time to look over a student’s resume. The grateful student says Canning gave them “important feedback that helped me assess the steps I should take in my career to improve my standing with employers.” The student also emphasized the importance of recognizing the efforts made by those in career services to help students. Thank you! 

Student Bailey Coppage received a pat for going above and beyond for a friend. “Thank you so much for coming to my dorm during your break yesterday to deliver me a Mediterranean bowl. It made my day!”
