If you enjoy a good round of trivia, but have no idea where to go, check out this breakdown of where to play.

Brion’s Grille: University Mall, 10621 Braddock Road, Fairfax, VA 22032

Just across the street from Mason, Brion’s holds a trivia night every Wednesday at 7:30. Trivia is divided into seasons of six weeks apiece, and there are rewards to the top three finishers every week. You can usually find a Fourth Estate editor there every week, because the questions tend to be in the college-aged wheelhouse and five-dollar beer pitchers available that night are an oasis in the middle of a work week.

Hard Times Café: 4069 Chain Bridge Road, Fairfax, VA 22030

If you are a fan of watching sports, chili and delicious cornbread, Hard Times holds trivia every Wednesday night at 8 p.m.

Epicure Café: 11104 Lee Highway, Fairfax, VA 22030

An interesting spot for trivia, with rules that might confuse newcomers. Although there are questions for everyone, many are focused on music and current events. Also expect a longer game (sometimes over two hours), especially when it’s busy. Epicure holds trivia every Tuesday night at 8 p.m.

The Auld Shebeen: 3971 Chain Bridge Road, Fairfax, VA 22030

For a feeling of a more traditional “pub quiz” feeling head to this Fairfax Irish bar. Trivia covers all subjects, craft beers cost $3.50, and lasts about an hour. Auld’s holds trivia every Tuesday night at 8 p.m.

Angelika Film Center and Café: 2911 District Avenue, Fairfax, VA 22031

If you are trying to spend way too long at a movie theater, this is the day to do it. The game is located in the theater’s lounge which allows for easy access to half price beer and wine. Angelika holds trivia every Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m.
