“Art of Time Ensemble: Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band”
Taking place Sunday, Nov. 8, at 7 p.m. in Concert Hall on the Fairfax Campus, this concert will put a twist on classic Beatles songs using new arrangements and musical styles. Power Meet
On Saturday, Nov. 7, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., students can take part in the Power Meet happening at the RAC. The event will feature benching, squatting and deadlift challenges, and prizes will be awarded to winners. Check out the website for more details.

Compania Flamenca Jose Porcel: Flamenco Fire
This event is taking place Sunday, Nov. 8, at 4 p.m. in Merchant Hall at the Hylton Performing Arts Center at Mason’s Science and Technology Campus. Potomac Mills Family Fall Festival
For students with cars, this is the event for you! Potomac Mills in Woodbridge, Va., is hosting a Fall Festival with music, food and a corn hole tournament. The event will take place Saturday, Nov. 7, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the front parking lot. Check out the Facebook page for more details.

Indiana Jones and the Adventure of Archaeology
For those who love Indiana Jones, there is an exhibit currently open at the National Geographic Museum in D.C. that features the historical icon. The exhibit will include original props, costumes and even some of the archaeological items discussed in the films. Located near Farragut North on the Orange Line, the museum is easily accessible by Metro from Mason. Tickets are $12 for students. Check out the link below for additional information and a fun video.

Metro Tap Roots
Happening Friday, Nov. 6, through Sunday, Nov. 8, this festival celebrates D.C.’s rich history of tap dance by offering performances, classes and panel discussions. Students can pay $15 to see a tap performance accompanied by live music on Saturday at 8 p.m. or stop by on Sunday to take a class or two. Registration for classes costs $25 and must be done in advance. The event will finish up with the Closing Jam, taking place Sunday, Nov. 8, at 4:15 p.m. Tickets for the Closing Jam are $10.
