Welcome back to Pats for Patriots!
Mason Nation, can you believe we are already halfway through the semester? The Fourth Estate would like to send a special pat to everyone for crushing the first half of the semester!
This week…
Staff member Joan Stahle from the College of Education and Human Development received a pat for her “invaluable” hard work and commitment. A grateful student said, “Thank you for your tireless efforts in ensuring that all PhD students receive important information and updates in a timely manner. Your dedication to keeping us informed is greatly appreciated and makes a big impact in our academic journey.”
Staff member Nicole Pozinsky received a pat from a faculty member who says she is “an absolute delight to work with.” They also said that Nicole “always goes above and beyond with requests for assistance, and is always incredibly punctual with responses” and are appreciative of her can-do attitude!
Faculty member Ethan Carter received a pat for balancing multiple roles on campus and “always showing up for his staff with kindness.” His fellow staff member says that Ethan “reminds staff to take care of themselves and each other, and brings a sense of humor and playfulness to the role which helps ease the stress of a department with multiple vacancies. His leadership and support is appreciated. I just want him to know that the work he does matters and to have grace with himself as he continues to balance so much. Thank you, Ethan!”
The Fourth Estate hopes everyone has a restful, safe and fun spring break. Remember to continue to spread kindness wherever your travels may lead you over break, we’ll be back with more Pats for Patriots soon!
