I am Nathan Ferraro, this year’s Copy Editor at the Fourth Estate! I am a sophomore studying Communication, with a concentration in Journalism and Political Communication. I am excited to be a part of this year’s  editorial team after returning from a semester abroad in Spain. 

You have likely heard about the things happening at Mason since last semester through emails sent to your inbox or stories appearing in outlets such as the Washington Post and the New York Times. My goal this year is to support the team by preparing stories for publishing as news breaks. Whether it be about big changes happening at Mason or the most recent basketball game, my job as the Copy Editor is to keep you informed by ensuring stories are high-quality and concise. 

As a certified citizen reporter, I am qualified to edit and report on stories that are timely, accurate, and fair. The most important thing is that your voice, as a student, is heard and amplified. Whether you are interested in becoming a staff writer or being quoted in a story, your voice is paramount to me and the Fourth Estate editorial team.
